when i think of an mvp i think of what the players team would be like without him/her so if the team would suffer a lot then the player is an mvp but if not then i dont necisarily think theyre an mvp

In my opinion? The basketball player that has set the highest standard of basketball success through a combination of stats, team record, and records.


What the NBA thinks? The Best Player on the Best Team in the Best conference (Hence, Nash and Dirk winning it for the past 4 years)

A player who can open up opportunity for other's to shine along with help the team in his own stats, makes up an MVP. After all an MVP is the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER for the team. Using the leadership skills along with putting the team on his shoulders and carrying them to victory is a great MVP.
