Acadamy selecting for Oscars?

Question

Okay, how would you get on the comittee to choose the best picture movie and acting awards for the Acadamy Awards? Do you have to be a celebrity or something?? What can I do to become an Acadamy member if possible??

okay...so i can't be a member. is all i have a say in the peoples choice awards???

You have to work in the entertainment industry for years, or win an Oscar yourself.
