I watched the episode. I felt bad for Frank the husband but also for the MOM of Lauren because you could tell she was a decent mom and person and her daughter obviously never loved her husband (and according to her was in love with somebody else when she married him!). Like alot of people on here I felt bad for the husband --I hope Amanda (see above) who knows Frank will keep us posted.

(by the way did you notice that Laren's dad kept shaking his head 'no' when they asked Lauren after all the admission of cheating etc if she is a bad person? The dad wanted to support her even after that. Wonder how her dad would have felt if HIS wife had cheated on him when they were a young newlywed couple? Would of he thought his wife was a 'good person'? Or what if Frank had been the cheater --cheating on his daughter --would he still say Laren's husband was a good person? YEAH I did not think so. I understand a father wants to support his kid, but come on! )

The questioner said "her marriage is ruined" what about Franks part in a marriage?! Its his marriage too and he is the victim here. He looks like he really loved his wife Lauren --a sad mistake --otherwise he would have not looked sadder with every answer she gave where she admitted the stuff she has done.

The real tragedy is he really loved her.

I don't understand people who cheat on their wife or husband or girlfriend or boyfriend. If you dont love the person then divorce/leave them first and *then* go for another relationship--am I asking too much?

Source(s):

PS notice how Lauren was crying at the end of the show when everybody gathered around her?

I'm thinking is she crying because of the stuff she did or because she did not get the cash??? Or both??
Gotta wonder--especially when she was still IN the game she was not crying (even after admitting all the stuff she did and felt and thought against her husband)---the water works started only after she lost the chance at the big cash $$$.

If thats so --then thats cold, cold as ice.

Oh and she is an aspiring model: her page (where you can also email her directly) is located here:

http://www.exploretalent.com/model_page.…

she also has a myspace page at:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus…

where her quote for herself is (as of Feb 26/08 12 noon EST time):
"that girl's fine but THIS ONE'S A KILLA!"

"KILLA" indeed. One marriage is dead after all.

Oh and it also says (as of this date):
"Lauren is recovering...it's going to be tough "

Huh? What about Frank? I guess "forget him" huh Lauren. You're the one who needs to recover and we should all be sad for you right princess?

Note: if the messages on her myspace are now different from my quotes its because she changed them. Those quotes above are directly from her myspace as of today.

Great answer, good detail, gave me some things to think about.
Man c'mon after admitting to all those horrible things she did and would rather be married to someone else she has the audacity to say she's a good person???? LOL!!...when she said yes if she believes she's a good person it just makes Satan look like one of God's top angels!!

I feel really bad for poor frank! he seems like a very genuine nice guy who is really in love with someone who wishes she married someone else. he needs to move down here to georgia and let me show him how he deserves to be treated! i would LOVE to have a guy like him! and he looks damn sexy too!

I seen it, I was waiting for the guy to say "go all the way, because when I divorce your B*tch a** I get half the money." It sucks but its better that the truth is known, now they guy can drop her and move on, hopefully find someone worth being with.

I was happy she lost, she didn't deserve the money, it just sucks that the guy wont get anything out of it except a divorce.

I think the "we almost didn't air it" was a marketing scheme to get people to watch it. There is no way they would have threw the tape in the trash, I bet they hope every show is like that

come on now she knew the questions they were gonna most likely ask and yet she still went thru with it. if her marriages does actually end then either she wanted it to or she was hoping that clearing the air and being honest would help their problems to come out into the open and they can work on the marriage either way she knew exactly what she was doing. they tell u at the beginning that they asked her 50 questions and she knew they would take 21 of them and ask her them of course they were gonna go for the ones that have the most shock value. so dont feel sry for her if u wanna feel sry for anyone feel sry for the husband that poor guy was knocked for a loop. and had it all played out rite on national tv how kind of her to do that to him. well since the money didnt mean anything to her and it was all about honesty and getting it out then she should be rite happy with how things turned out!! as for them possibley not airing this that is straight out bs. only in there wildest dreams did they ever think that they would get so lucky to get a contestant like her. they were just drooling to get this on air in fact so much so that they couldnt wait for the regular day they had to put it on 2 days earlier and show the worst parts as promos. its called reality tv for a reason!!!

Dude, That girl is damaged goods. The best question was the one she lost on! If she thinks she is a good person, I hate to see what she meant when she said she had a good marriage! That should be the freakin' easiest question, but after all the crap she revealed, there is no way you can look at her and think you're getting away with that! That husband seemed like a decent fella. What sucks for him is after he divorces her, she'll run back to that loser Ex...man he enjoyed the camera time a bit much. Best of luck to some losers like you. I'm rooting for the husband to pull through on this one. He at least has some dignity. People will look at him and be like, "Sorry, dude, that sucks." But her they'll say, "MAN! You suck. Good luck in your trash. Maybe that Ex will think you can be trusted." Use this as a lesson to clean up your life...and cut the crap about "Not wanting to air it." They were hoping for the highest ratings ever on this one. I called a friend to watch it because it was such a train wreck.

Yeah she knew what she was doing she obviously didn't have the guts to tell him straight out that she was a lying, cheating cow so why not do it on national television because of course he'll definitely forgive her now!! I wish her hubbie all the best he seemed a wonderul caring guy and way too good for her I hope he meets someone that respects and loves him for who he is.

Okay, I honestly dont think this chick would have cried if she won the game. I really thought shed win, and get the money, not feel remorseful about her "surprises." Honestly, would this evil, dumb girl have cried if she got the money? Seriously, little miss, " I just want the truth to come out, i dont care about the money!!" Why didnt she just tell her husband in private, not on national tv, somewhere where he could show his emotions in private. I feel soooo bad for the husband. He was humiliated and crushed on national tv for the world to see. Not only did she ruin HER marriage, she probably ruined her parents too. Her family seems like its built on lies. What woman would keep a secret hidden from her mmother FOR her father? No wonder she cant tell her husband the truth. Her father has taught her how to keep things from others. Now, im not saying this is her fathers fault, but come on...isnt family supposed to be a support system, someone who you know will be there for you NO MATTER WHAT??? Obv. not in this family.

The dumb B*&%^% deserved to lose. The husband deserves sooo much better. And if i were him, Id tell fellow cops to find a reason to pull her over as much as possible. As for the exboyfriend coming on the show....come on now.... And the sister hitting the button, what good did that honestly do?

Put her name in google and she is an aspiring model. You can email her right from the site. I think she needs to be told how she humiliated her poor husband. It was not his choice to answer those questions and if he hit the button would look like he was insecure. Either way she is a selfish person throwing a fit because he moved her out of her partying town where she was sleeping around on him. She probably slept with half the police force already.

Unbelievable show. I didn't care for this show when it first came out because it took so long to get the answer, but this episode was good. I knew I didn't want her to win money when she gave the answer about the homeless persons face being dirty. Guess what Lauren..when your homeless and sleeping on the street your face tends to get dirty. Ever since that point she went stright downhill ruining her family, her marriage, and her reputation. She has a lot of repair work to do when she gets home. Coming on this show was probably the worst thing she could have done ...good thing she won alot of money...oops

I truely hope he divorced her when they got home! She doesn't deserve someone as good looking as him anyway. My jaw dropped when they asked all of those questions! I could not believe it and you could tell that everyone there was uncomfortable. I know I would be! That was the most shocking show I think I have ever seen haha!!

This show was just one bit short of being comparable to Maury Povich. Honestly... how could you put your husband, mother, father, brother, and sister through this KNOWINGLY! She knew what the sh*t smelt like when she stepped in it. She knew her marriage would be rocky after this -- maybe it was her "get out of jail free" card -- no pun intended towards Frank.

I can honestly say that this is one of my GUILTY pleasure shows to watch. I feel bad these ppl are on tv baring it all and only for a CHANCE to win money. How much is honesty really worth? How much is peace in the family worth?

My husband refuses to watch this with me so instead I record it and watch it after he's asleep... he's afraid I'll ask him questions and I'm afraid I will too. Some things ARE better left unsaid.

I was shocked. I felt horrible for her poor husband. With each question she answered, he looked sadder & sadder. Im really happy she didnt win tho, she was just such a b*tch & thought she couldnt lose. I honestly think she wasnt worried about hurting her husband or him divorcing her because she thought she would have all that money, haa and she walked away with nothing :). But like i said, i hated that for her husband, but on the bright side atleast she found out what type of person she really is before they were married for another few years.

Ive known frank for years, and i don't even know what to say to him. IF i ever see that B*tch Lauren anywhere i swear she better run. How dare her pretend like shes this cute girl trying to set things right by telling the truth? well let me tell you all something, NO ONE deserves that! i cried so much, for someone who "didn't care about the money" really showed some great face expressions on how she felt with her answers! if you ask me, i bet if she moved on, one of the questions would have been DO YOU WANT A DIVORCE!... stupid **** lost the best guy for nothing! if she thinks shes a good person after everything that she has done, well she seriously needs help. and as for her little ex boyfriend, have any of you seen that show, where anyone can buy tickets and its like a " pretend wedding" you go to the show dressed up like you would to a wedding and they pick like 15 ppl to be on the show.. idk the name of it, but its on TV... hes an actor, and not for anything he had some balls going on the show.... i just cant get over the whole thing... I hope he makes the right decision, and ill keep y'all posted if i hear that he does....

I loved how she said "you're making this worse than it really is" and he was like ".....i don't think i can make this worse than it is". Did she not realize that cheating on your husband/wife is (in my opinion) the worst thing you can do to another human being...? Everything she said leading up to it made me think it was coming...she takes off her wedding ring to look single...she makes excuses not to have sex...she thinks her ex is the man she should be married to...i feel so bad for her husband. i hope she got hit by a bus after walking out of the studio

I kept hoping that Lauren would win the $200,000 so that when Frank, her husband, divorced her, he'd have $100,000 to show for the 2 years of a sham marriage that this disrespectful "skank" put him through. Trust me, that was the only reason why he wanted her to keep going in the game.

That episode was so obviously staged it wasn't even funny. Do you really think that she'd admit to cheating on her husband, being in love with an ex-boyfriend, etc all for $100,000 and then lose on "Are you a good person?"

This show was sturggling and FOX needed to help it out, so they paid a nice couple some good money to do this. It was a complete set up.

That show is a fake, just like American Idol and every other "reality" show on Fox. That's what they want, they want people like you that believe everything they hear to get glued to the tv and cry because you feel bad for them. Every contestant on that show so far has been a model/actor. Google their names and see. And do I need to explain why AI is a fake? Just look at the controversy this year going on with it.

Either way, Fox is sure getting what they want this year..ratings.

I just watched this episode online (Fox has full episodes). That was so completely staged. If you watch closely, not one single tear was shed by any member of the family the entire time. Then there was the jolly group hug at the end of the show, including the husband. Puh-lease. Not only were they acting, but they did so poorly. I agree with the previous post that asserts that Fox paid them to go on, answer as they did, and "lie" about being a good person at the end. What family would put themselves on TV and make themselves look like such trash? Is there no pride? I can not wait until there are some new episodes of The Office, Desperate Housewives, etc. These game shows are swill, and they are all we have!

Like most people, I felt sorry for the husband, but I did wonder: if HE was the one answering questions, how good would HIS record be? He looked decent and honest, but we really know nothing about him. Has HE been completely faithful? Has HE ever taken off his wedding ring to look single? Appearances are in his favor, but really we saw only one side of that story. If he had been on the show, maybe we'd now be feeling sorry for his wife. Nobody's perfect, and I'm sure he has a 'past' too.

This is not a defense of the woman's disgraceful behavior. Just critical thinking, and trying to see both sides of the coin.
