Babysitting tonight, what can i do to entertain 9 year olds??

im babysitting two nine year olds tonight, how can i entertain them??

Play the ABC story. You start the story with a word, and say two sentences of a story, then pass it on and whatever letter was last in the word you ended on the next person has to start with, and so on.
Bring a deck of cards and ask random questions, taking turns flipping them over. If its odd its no if its even its yes.
If its warm enough outside play skunk in the barnyard. Its like hide and seek tag. One person counts, as the "farmer", and everyone else hides as "skunks", but counts to ten after the "farmer" says ready or not. After their ten count they pop up, yell "skunk in the barnyard" and run to another hiding spot. This game works really well with a lot of people, but Im sure it would work with 3, and if there are neighbourhood kids?
make painted paper plate pinwheels and suspend them from the ceiling.
Teach them how to make a garden in a pop bottle.
Stack up the sofa cushions like a staircase and see who can get the highest without toppling.
OR...if they happen to both be rowdy rambunctious 9yr old boys...you could do what we did...
tie a string around barbies foot and hang her from the ceiling fan, then turn it on and DUCK! LOL.

If you are entertaining them from dinner time on....then having them help you make English Muffin Pizza's for dinner would start off the evening....
English Muffin Pizza's
1 pkg English Muffins
1 jar Pizza Sauce-(or Spaghetti Sauce) not plain tomato sauce
Grated Cheese..(Mozzerella, or cheddar &jack is good)
Either a small amount of pre cooked Hamburger or some pre cooked Italian sausage, or packaged Pepperoni slices
Any veggie...like green peppers sliced thin, onions, mushrooms...or leave out the veggies...
Then let them make the Pizza's and you bake them until hot and bubbly on a baking sheet.
This whole process will take at least 1- 1 1/2 hrs. Including eating...Then a movie....or play Uno...or a Board Game they like to play....Most kids can get into a board game, and usually families never have the time or energy to play often enough. Card games are good too. Hearts, War, Go Fish..
Plan on possibly having popcorn to munch on later on during the game...or cookies and milk before bedtime.

call beforehand ,see what movie they would like to watch and rent it for them .it will be a nice calm evening for you.make them a nice snack to go with it.

play pokemon with them, play boardgames with them and react whenever you can to entertain them at it. or you could Ask them what they wanna play
