How do I program my Cox Cable remote with my Samsung DVD/Surround Sound receiver? I can't find the code in the manual and the code search doesn't seem to work? Any advice?

There's not much you can do if code search doesn't work.
Try asking Cox to upgrade your box, or at least your remote control. Newer remotes have the newest code set and work better with newer equipment.
You can always buy a universal remote. Make sure you get one that has a "learning" function in case you have to use the original remotes to "teach" the universal.
