Cloverfield?

Question

I just watched Cloverfield last night and I am like "WOW". I liked it! Not the camera action so much but the concept of the movie was good. Have any of yall seen it? If you did what your opinions about it?

I REALLY enjoyed this movie. The idea of doing a monster movie from the first person perspective really makes it work well. You didn't SEE the movie so much as you EXPERIENCED it. I can't wait for it to come to DVD so I can watch it whenever I want.

The creators of the creature have also released a back story for it.

I like the movie, but you right that camera was messing me up i figure aventually it would goto a normal camera but it never did. So all in all it was good i wouldn't recommend it.

We laughed at it. Shallow characters, stupid plot and a really ridiculous conceit that anyone would continue to carry a camera while being chased by a monster. It was, however, a really well marketed movie.

this movie was beautifully done. great original concept. alot of people didn't get it but not all of us can be geniuses like JJ Abrams. the movie was perfect set as a piece of evidence, just like you were sitting down to watch a tape in the CIA offices. that was beautiful. and i freaking loved how the tape cut back and forth to show you that it was recorded over their previous date to the pier! that was tight! nowadays there are too many movies that aren't clever, that you don't have to think or interact with! this was awesome!

I loved it. I loved the concept and it all worked very well. It was very intense.

I hated leaving the theater though and hearing people ask questions about it.
"What's the origin of the monster?"
"No closure?"

My answer:
"Who cares??"

If you were in that same situation, you wouldn't get the answers to these questions. The movie was just a big roller coaster ride, and nothing more. Enjoy it people!

great movie saw it the day it premiered The movie gave me paranoia or how ever it is spelled and i still have paranoia it was extremely scary
