Is Grouply a scam or is it legit? I've heard it's a "phishing" site.?

It is a legit program, but make sure you read all the fine print before you install it.

According to the Grouply privacy policy they are not a phishing site. In fact, as with many legitimate web businesses Grouply is registered with the TrustE scheme, which is there to ensure that the Grouply privacy policy is adhered to.

If you have any concerns then report them to TrustE who can investigate on your behalf.

From what I see, a possible problem is that when the grouply address is added to yahoo it alows Direct Adds. That can be fixed here: http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs

grouply is getting venture capital, so I'm thinking they're legit and so far my general experience has been a good one.
