Easy points- On average, how many times per week does your household forget to turn a light off overnight?

Just doing some research for product design, I need honest answers and loads of them in order for this to be a reliable source. Thanks.

lately, its been alot, I would say 2-3 times a week

we do not leave any lights on, before bed every night, usually i or my sister who ever goes to bed the latest will make sure all the doors are locked and all the lights are off. Even during the day we try to conserve how much electricity we use. Although out side the house are sensor light..they are a necessity.

0 .. we have all of two rooms plus a kitchen and bath, and we CHECK to be sure all of our lights are OFF ... but we have 'lights' inside both of our computers, and some 'indicator lights' on other appliances that STAY ON unless we have a power outage ... there are 4 of them, if you want to 'count' them ... but they don't 'light' anything, really, they just 'indicate it's up and running' even if the appliance is 'dark' otherwise.

hardly ever. either my wife or I turn everything off and lock the doors before going to bed.

We live in a huge house that was built in the late 1800's and I have kids 7 , 12, & 15 that sleep upstairs so I leave lights on at night every night. I leave the hall light on, so if the kids were to come down in the middle of the night they don't fall, and I leave the upstairs bathroom light on so they can see when and if they need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night....and I leave the light over the stove on in the kitchen incase anyone needs to go in there or incase of an emergency. The lights I leave on are all 40 watt bulbs. If I lived in a newer,,,,smaller home or a ranch, I don't think I would leave that many on.
