Did the NBA Exist when Abraham Lincoln was alive, why didnt he join if it did?

The NBA was created around 1949-1950. Abram Lincoln was dead by like 100 years by then.

Basketball wasn't even invented until 1892. Since Lincoln had already had his brains blown out back in '65, I don't think he declared himself eligible for the draft, know what I mean?

Abe could've played ball but Mary Todd wanted him to run for president. At 6-feet-4 inches tall, he could've been a center because there were a lot of short people back then. Today he would've probably played shooting guard or point guard. Sike, Im just kidding, yall. Ha Ha!
