What is the name of the song that goes "mamasay mamasa mamakusa" NOT by the bloodhound gang?

i know there's a version by the bloodhound gang called "mama say". i also know there's a version by michael jackson, but i can't find it on itunes. i also think there may be another version sung by girls.

i'd like to know the title to either of these other versions.

It's not a version by Michael Jackson - it IS by Michael Jackson. The first time that chorus appeared in Western music was in "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" back in 1983, off the "Thriller" album.

Cameroonian saxophonist Manu Dibango had some similar African phrases in his songs, and Jacko may have been inspired by that.

The most recent version of the chorus was in Rihanna's 2007 single "Don't Stop the Music". The famous "mama-se, mama-sa, ma-ma-koo-sa" features on a break occurring at approximately 2.35. Two other sample uses of the chant include an uncredited remix of Benni Benassi's "Satisfaction", and a track credited to "Carmel Club" also used the chant to open a funky electro-house instrumental tune.
