Does broccoli make my vagina smell?

I think I got in trouble with Yahoo for putting this question in the wrong place. But they *suggested* posting it in the Vegan section... I mean, I guess vegans would probably know better, but maybe not.

Anyway, my boyfriend tells me that sometimes my poonani smells funny after I eat broccoli for awhile. Is this true? He usually likes to eat me out, even if I'm all sweaty down there, but when I have broccoli for lunch, it's like, no way. I cannot tell if he is just giving me a hard time... I noticed sometimes his peter tastes like cookies after he eats an ice cream cone. Oh, sorry, off track.

Anyway, does broccoli make whoo-ha smell or what? Help me out!!!!!

Here is an answer taken from another similar yahoo question.

Maybe you can try taking a bubble bath before you guys mess around. Also make sure that you watch your diet when it comes to things like this. Eliminating certain foods, ie: meats, dairy products, cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus), garlic, and onions and make you taste sweeter. Also, eating more fruits will make a vagina taste sweeter, especially pineapple. And you can try using those gels that taste good by KY. They have gels that come in different flavors such a strawberry, vanilla, pineapple, etc. that make the vagina taste sweeter.

food can effect the smell of your body, you probably got reported for using improper terms.

instead of "eat me out" say oral sex and instead of "peter" say penis

Your question make me laugh, so I felt I should answer as best I could. Most people would say "no, it's probably not that." But I think everybody is different and it's very possible that it has some effect on your discharge and lubrication.

Check your palms, if your body has an odor that is strong enough to smell, you should be able to detect the odor on the palms of your hands.

Works especially well if you eat onions, your palms will have that smell.

Ok, I had to answer too because I thought the way you worded was funny ("his peter tastes like cookies after he eats an ice cream cone. Oh, sorry, off track.) But Im not laughing at your question. Its actually a really good question and alot of girls wonder if different foods causes different odors down south...and its not only girls but it affects guys too.
And the answer is yes, different foods make your downstairs smell differently. Fruits (especially pineapple) make it smell and even taste good (so Ive heard..) and other fruits like beef and yes, brocolli make it not so pleasant. I dont know the full list though, try browsing the resolved questions. Hope this helped!!

Haha at least your honest lol

Thank you for the smile. To answer your question, yes. The foods you eat can affect your body odor and taste. Just like asparagus makes your urine smell different, foods you eat can make a difference. Examples include vegetables, mayonaise, cheesecake. Feed your man cheesecake, wait two hours. Go to town. You will not be disappointed and will have the answer to your question. 'Nuf said!

yes it does! and also asparagus! eat kiwi it makes you taste great!

Vaginas are naturally acidic and kiwi's are alkaline and sweet. That's why girls are supposed to eat kiwis

Semen is naturally alkaline and pineapple is acidic and sweet, that's why guys are suppose to eat pineapple

That dam old yahoo won`t even let you ask a good intelligent question. I think you are on to something. I have heard that you should soak the broccoli in a mild unflavored mouth wash before you cook it. If you are adding cheese to your broccoli recipe this may be attributing to the smell down there. Try changing to a different type of cheese. Your boy friend may just be pulling your leg. I doubt that though because of the seriousness of the problem. If nothing else works have your boyfriend practice holding his breath for extended periods of time. You might even hold broccoli under his nose until it becomes conditioned and tolerant to the smell. As far as the cookie taste of your boyfriend down there I just can not come up with a remedy for that right off the top of my head.
