Well, first of all, the poem itself is Ferlinghetti reflecting on a painting by Goya. So it's a reflection in and of itself. For you to write a reflection, you need to look at the painting online, if possible. After that, look at what Ferlinghetti says about the actual painting and then how he adapts modern life into his statement. That should give you plenty to reflect on.

I dont know how the poem sounds(or is) but the way you can relate to the poem is by thinking if something ever happened to you like that.You have to see if it makes you hasppy or sad and why?
