Dr. Phil: What do you think of the new Travis Stork book?

Dr. Phil had former "Bachelor" Travis Stork on the show, pushing his new book "Don't Be That Girl". For those who watched, did you pick up on any hints on how to be a girl that men want to date, or did you feel like he was slamming everything women do? According to what I gathered, we can't do anything right and there is no hope!

True, he criticized every aspect of a woman and never really told what it is that makes a woman "desirable". I have a feeling this "Bachelor" will be an eternal bachelor. He's asking for perfection, because according to what they were saying yesterday, there is nothing a woman can do to be good enough for marriage, unless she acts totally disinterested, which is like telling women to lie about what they really want! I was not impressed with Stork and his book and was disappointed Dr. Phil had him on the show. It was useless and just another way for men to beat their chests and howl through the jungle like Tarzan.

I watched it also but didn't really pick up any hints.
I would maybe have to read the book and make up my mind that way.
(Travis might be trying to make a name for himself in the self help market of books.)

I didn't get that at all. But then again, I'm a married mom, so my take is probably different. I just took it as "these are the things not to do". After you take those things out of the equation, there is plenty left. Like just enjoying life, knowing who you are and taking life as it comes. I remember what it was like looking for the "one". It's no fun especially when you feel like time is running out (women are so pressured to get married by a certain time plus the biological clock ticks so loud it can deafen you). But, when I finally calmed down and stopped feeling so desperate, that is exactly when I found and married the man that I'm with today. Take care!

He's ridiculous, I dont know who he thinks he is writing a book about how to be the perfect woman. Did I jump into a DeLorean and end up in 1954?
The above poster is prolly right, he is trying to change careers and be a self help guru, like the guy that wrote hes not that into you. That guy knows what he is talking about though, Travis Dork, not so much.
