Wedding Day Scriptures...?

Question

I'm getting married in about two months and I was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions on scriptures for the wedding ceremony. I have so many that sound great, if you could tell me your favorites and the ones you are in love with that would really help me out! Thanks!

I always suggest these verses/passages. I think any of them would be great for readings or printed in the programs. Congratulations & God bless your marriage!

~ Song of Solomon 2:16:
"My beloved is mine, and I am his"

~Ephesians 5:31-33:
31. As the Scriptures say, "A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one."
32. This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one.
33. So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

~Song of Solomon 8:6-7
6. Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame.

I love the one from First Corinthians, "Love is...". It's classic and beautiful. I'm at work so I don't have a bible to give you the exact verses but I don't think it should be too hard to find.

There are lots of beautiful ones - the one from Ruth about 'wherever you go, I will go" (plus, there's a lovely song using those words); and from the Song of Songs (just don't use ones with the more racy bits!).
