Are you 10? Being attracted to the same sex is gay. An ear piercing doesn't specify your sexuality. Get which ever ear you want pierced, and grow up.

Originally if a man in the US had his left ear pierced it meant that he was gay and sexually dominant, and having his right ear pierced meaning gay and sexually submissive.

Gradually, it evolved to a man with his right ear pierced perceived as being gay and a man with his left ear being pierced perceived as being straight.

Now, it just means a pierced ear.

(Men getting their ear pierced was popular with pirates; the value of the earring was meant to pay for their burial if they were lost at sea and their body washed ashore).

It used to mean if you had your right ear pierced you were gay. Don't know about now. Left ear means your a drug user.

It doesn't matter which ear you have pierced and actually nowadays many guys have multiple piercings in both ears!
