What does "Delta of Venus" mean?

I know it's the title of Anais Nin's work and there's a film as well, but is the term referring to a woman's nether regions or something else?

Thanks.

You're correct. Anytime you hear something referred to as "of Venus," especially if it's in an erotic work, the reference is almost certainly to a woman's private parts.

The Greek letter delta is shaped like a triangle, and so are the parts in question (as in the term "pubic triangle"), which is why they use the word delta.
