I really don't care for accents that much unless I can understand them. If I can't comprhend what you are saying to me, I don't want to hear you.

The accent is charming, amusing, mysterious and intrigues you. All of that combined makes them appealing.

Because it is different than what we are used to. Like an exotic girl in the Middle East would be blonde haired and blued eyed, but that would not be exotic in California.

(ha just had anthropology) but perhaps it has something to do with exogamy? (want to marry outside group, and if someone has an accent they're from somewhere else) Or it could just be that's it's intriguing, and different, and exciting, idk.
