10 years 150k miles is what they are generally designed for.

Anyone that bothers to take care of their vehicle will probably last longer. The ones that don't touch it ever again once it leaves the lot probably won't get that far.

an import vehicle has longer lifespan than a domestic vehicle, if you take care of the car the moment it has a problem, it will last you a long long time, maintnance and regular oil changes.
diesel vehicles last way more than gas vehicles, but again you have to properly maintain them, it all depends on the owner of the vehicle,

the record is a mercedes diesel. i think it has 1.1 million miles on it and still going.

I use to have a 93 Chevy Caprice with 450,000 miles. It always had the oil changed on time. I sold it with 450,00 miles on it.
