Does tracfone charge you partial units if your call is only for part of a minute?

eg, 30 second call = 1 unit or 0.5 units?
1.5 minute call = 1.5units or 2 units?

no i beleive it rounds up. the half units are for texts.. which i love !!!!!!

Every call is counted in units, there is no such charge as .5 unit every thing is billed in whole units for all wireless phones.

No half-minute/half-unit charges: they charge you 1 unit for anything up to 60 seconds. For a text message, they only charge 1/3 of a unit.

Every plan I have checked will round up to next whole minute. Some even charge a minimum such as 3 minutes for every call made even if only used for 15 seconds.

Read the documentation that came with your Tracfone or any other cell phone. They charge "by the minute". If you talk 15 seconds, you get charged 1 minute or unit. If you talk 2 minutes and 49 seconds, you get charged 3 minutes or units. I think you need to READ the contract before you come up with other SURPRISES. It'll only take 4 minutes and 37 seconds to read it. LOL
