What is the most ridiculous school rules you ever had.

Stupid Rules:

1. We weren't allowed to hug. We couldn't even hug the same gender.

2. Only your parents can bring you lunch, your parent can't bring your friend lunch.

3. You can't wear flats because of safety hazards

4. You can't wear glitter nail polish, or black nail polish because of safety hazards.

5. If your shirt is untucked, you will be suspended for 3 days

6. No skateboards on campus, if any are seen, that person will be suspended.

Not letting me stay longer. Wish I was back in High School.

Enjoy the trivial, petty rules you kids are posting in here and wait until you get out into the Corporate world. Then review what you thought were "stupid" rules and you will realize, they were petty at best. Definately not something to get upset about.

the two rules i hate the most is that i have to tuck in my shirt and that i have to wear a belt, and i get in trouble for being late to classes that i really hate

Some kid at a fundamentalist Christian school I went to got expelled for 'sitting sexually' at lunchtime. He had his knees over a girls knees. No genitals were exposed, and everyone was wearing pants.

We had stairs that you could only go up and antoher set where you could only go down. We would get detention if you went up the down stairs and down the up stairs.

I would run it. Never been cought but stupid rules.

One teacher wouldn't let a kid take a bent paper clip into class. She called it " a weapon".

Absolutely no rubber bands.
You must clean your table with a wet rag after lunch.
No eating except for at lunch (I consider this ridiculous because school started at 7:45 and lunch was at 12:30).

lets see where to begin...detention for writing notes.. boys and girls had to be 6inches apart at all times...not allowed to chew gum...skirts had to be below the knee splits included..couldnt tie sweat shirt around waist ...yeah its dumb i know thats y i left lol

Part of the "no touching" / "no PDA" rules at my old school, you couldn't give high - 5's. Thats just ridiculous!

We can't wear what we want, chew gum, can't have a bible, can't watch higher than G rated movies, no internet freedom, mini clip is blocked off, bulk arcade is blocked off, myspace is blocked, clubpneguin is blocked, just about all games! MY SCHOOL STINKS!!!

here are some of our high school rules....
1) if a teacher sees a cellphone in your purse they can go thru your purse and take it
2)we cant wear hoodies because people choke each other(ive never actually seen this)
3)we cant wear jackets and we have construction in our school so theres walls knocked down on top of all that we live in upstate ny.where it snows!

Cellphone has to be turn off and put away ( how come teacher could use cellphone during teaching hour???but not students...)
Only go to locket after and before lunch ( books are freaking heavy)!
