Is Walmart brand laundry detergent any good?

Yes, wall marts brand, as well as any other store brand should work fine. I have been using a generic version of various products for years ...if you don't like one brand change to another.

I bought Walmart Everday Elegance in Lavender--hoping it would be as good as Tide Lavender. It didn't smell quite as good, but was ok. The only cleaning problem was that husband immediately noticed that his socks were irritating his ankles--causing dry skin--the way all detergents do except Tide. Going back to Tide for him and will use Walmart for the rest of us. Gotta save a little $ where we can........

I have always used store brand detergent whenever possible. It has the same cleaning effect as name brands, only cheapre, but as some would notice, it may not smell as strong. Personally, clean is clean. As soon as you wear it, it has your perfume, colonge or body oder anyway.

well i tested it from a diffrent detergent . well i put it on top of a wet dirty cothing and it really works

won't clean tough stuff...

i have tried cheap brands and they simply dont clean as well as tide and oxydol. period.

According to my son's science lab project....Era is the best bang for your buck. Beats all the other brands (cheap and expensive) cents to ounces and how it works compared to others. Had to change to Era.
