IMO...and in just "my personal opinion".... the prime... almost sacred duty of every individual is to generate employment.
I know such an idea seems out-of-place when compared with selflessly altruistic activities being done by philanthrophic luminaries.
Some might even term it as another form of greedy capitalism or exploitation of the needy.
But IMHO its the only thing that will improve the human condition, and is self-sustaining in the long term, without sacrificing the dignity of the receiver.
The surprising thing is each one of us can do it in our own little way...U dont really have to be filthy rich.
A very common behaviour-pattern is "let me do it myself and save some money and also remain self-reliant"
This acts as a great barrier to this philosophy taking root in the masses.
People R a bit stingy with what they have, and wanna hold on to it, stash it, save it etc.
Little do they realize that if they happily give away a part of it with gratitude & dignity...not only have they bought themselves time...a very precious commodity...but ten-fold times of what they gave, will flow in.
Such is the law of the Universe, as experienced first-hand by many.
But your intention must be pure. Your act should be driven by a genuine desire to enable people to earn their livelihood, and not just as a charitable investment with an eye on returns.
Even if each of us, gave out a minor task to someone more needy than us, for even the smallest payment... the trickle of cash-flow, will rejunevate not just the employed & the employer ... but will set off a chain reaction, whose ripple-effect will percolate through your neighbourhood, your community, your country & eventually all of humanity.
