Turbocharger whine & Supercharger types?

Do all turbochargers whine when catch high rpm's?.....How many types of Superchargers are there?

turbos are mostly like a high pressure wind sound the superchargers make the whine noise and yes they both their unique noises at high rpms and as far as they types of superchargers there are positive displacement and dynamic compressors. go to this site to read all about them
