As the story goes, yes, but I suppose we can never know for sure. Rimbaud was quite a looker, and a genius. I think there was probably a good deal of hatred in that relationship as well, but that's not uncommon in great romances.

From what I know of the story, I would say so, and I would also say it was true vice versa.

If their relationship was anything like it was depicted in the movie Total Eclipse (with David Thewlis and Leo DiCaprio) I'd say they were obsessed with each other but not in a healthy way. If obsession equals love then I guess they would be each others greatest love.
