What type of strings go on my semi acoustic guitar ?

I have an ibanez artcore its a semi acoustic guitar thats a hollow bodied electric not a standard acoustic ...

It doesn't appear to have standard electric strings fitted to it and not acousitc strings either.

What type of strings does it take ?

Try a set of nickle wound 9 guage from Boomers or D-adario

Artcore series has short scale. You'd better use 0.10 guage for electric guitar to have the beefer sound. Semi hollow is an electric guitar.

But if you wanted the real jazz go and find flat wounded instead of the normal nickle strings. D' Addario have them both.
