How di i remove windows media player?

Question

ive been informed that my windows media player may be corrupt, ive tried reinstalling it but it wont let me, due to the fact the version 11 is already there,so how can i remove it then reinstall it, thank you b4 hand.

been into control panel, add remove program, but cant find windows media player anywhere to uninstall it,

cant find windows media player to uninstall.

go to control panel || add or remove programs
select windows media player 11 and click remove..
after u remove it, u can reinstall it...

Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall it then restart Xp and install it.

Click on START/CONTROL PANEL/ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS/scroll down to windows media player and click on REMOVE.Then do a system cleanup(I.E. clean useless entries in your registry and defrag your hard drive.).The best utilities for free can be found here :-

Once you get there just scroll down to "Advanced Windows Care Free" and "Smart Defrag". Download these and follow instructions.

You are correct, it's not in Add/remove. People should do their homework before answering.
One way is go into Explorer, it's right down the bottom, right click, delete.
Or, even better, go to link below, right at the bottom of the page is a fully functional trial version. It's brilliant, found it years ago, it's the first program I ever load.
Tip, when it asks "Do you want to re-boot now" say NO. The program will remove a lot more stuff, try it!!
