Mike Gravel, excluded AGAIN!!?

Mike Gravel will not be part of the next Democratic presidential debate, Oct. 30 in Philadelphia.

The former Alaska senator did not meet fundraising and polling requirements for the forum, said NBC News political director Chuck Todd.

The two-hour debate, sponsored by NBC News and the Democratic National Committee, will be telecast on MSNBC. Brian Williams will moderate.

All the other Democratic candidates are expecting to participate, including Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Chris Dodd; former Sen. John Edwards; New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, and Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich.

Gravel has been a lively presence in past debates despite having no campaign staff to speak of and virtually no money. He has raised about $287,000 overall and had $17,000 on hand at the end of the quarter that ended Sept. 30.

By contrast, Clinton has about $35 million on hand for the primary season, and Obama has over $32 million.

Additional Details

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! "did not meet fundraising and polling requirements for the forum" .. who give a flying crap how much he has raised. Why does money matter? Why will that make up the minds of Americans? Do you agree the government and the other candidates are terrified of this man getting into office? Thats all this is.

There is no doubt Gravel and Paul are the only two men speaking truths. If American had their heads out of their butts these two would be the top two candidates. I am a Ron Paul supporter but will say this if Gravels numbers were as large as Pauls I would defiantly be going with gravel. However since his message is a bit more on the abrasive side he isnt getting the followers Paul is getting. Paul has the experience and the answers for the problems. It doesnt matter the party they belong to it matters what they are saying. Therefore since Paul is increasing daily with supporters and donations he actually has a shot. He is winning all the straw polls and his cash on hand is larger than McCains.
Its time to say farewell to Gravel a great man that is fighting for a honest government. He has been assasinated by the elites and because his following isnt large enough they psuhed him out/ A shame but remember you still have a honest statesman running and he has the numbers. So I think its time we all push hard for a president that has the peoples best interest and not the government. Donate, support and vote for Ron Paul, Tell government that we have had enough.
We are as mad as hell and we are not going to take it anymore.
