Who is tired of Joe Buck And Tim McCarver, Hating the Red Sox???

I was rooting for the Indians to win the ALDS so that i wouldnt have to "Derek Jeter is just a spectacular all-around player" and "Alex Rodriguez may just be the greatest player of all-time" and "Mariano Rivera is the greatest closer of all time" as he gives up a run, you hear it every two minutes. They LOVE THE YANKEES. So the Indians win the ALCS, and now its Grady Sizemore this, Trot Nixon that, Travis Hafner this, Fausto Carmona that. they hate the Red Sox. It makes me sick to listen to any of the games.

i'm with you sox fan, for starters catalie travis hafner doesn't play he hits, he's a dh just like ortiz he doesn't play he just bats, so take ur foot outa ur mouth before u speak again, and everyone else is just bitchin becuz ur team isn't in the playoffs, i don't mind tim mccarver, i hate with a passion joe buck, his father was great but joe sucks, but i will admit its good their giving the indians the recognition becuz they do deserve it

For once they are talking positively about the Indians, you need to get over it. Did you see Trot Nixon, Grady Sizemore, FAusto Carmona and Travis Hafner play? They deserve to be mentioned. They do a lot better with less experience. Get over it

clevland earned their shot this year because they worked hard what is so wrong about that and they swept the yankees which the redsox can't do so i give them props for that even though i'm a yankee fan...redsox aren't going to in anyway so just face it

I completely, completely disagree about them loving the Yankees. Yankee fans will tell you, almost universally that McCarver in particular, is heavily anti-Yankee. There are a million instances, most recently in August where he belabored a standard ARod take out slide and implied it was a dirty play. He obsessed relentlessly about a Chad Curtis takeout of Omar Vizquel in the '98 playoffs and made Jaret Wright (then with the Tribe) into a young Sandy Koufax. The instances are legion.

One thing that McCarver does that annoys most fans is to repeat himself endlessly and belabor his points. Buck is just lame. Really, I don't know why any fans want these clowns broadcasting important games.

Really though, during game 1 they were all about celebrating the spectacular talents and clutch hitting of Papi and Manny declaring what a great pitcher Josh Beckett is, etc. You are no doubt used to the homerism of Remy and Orsillo, so when things went bad for the sawx last night it probably seemed that they were celebrating the Indians over much.

It is the other way around. I watched the Indians-Red Sox game last night, and the commentators made it a point that Boston was the better team. That all changed with the 7 runs in the 11th. Just about all the commentators in every professional sport hates Cleveland, and they let it be known. The sport casters did not give the Indians any credit when they beat the Yankee's in the ALDS. I agree. I am sick of them too. I didnt realize the ALCS was on Fox, I thought it would be on TBS also and I was glad. After I saw it was on Fox, I was really dismayed.

I don't think that they hate them, they are just national announcers that have no clue about who the teams really are. What they do do well is banter on about streaking players. The only things that they know about them is from what they either read or from the lines they are fed. I'd much rather have the local guys doing games. It would be awesome if they had the home team announcers calling the games - Fenway games are done by Don and Rem Dawg and the Jacobs Field games are done by whoever is out there (Sorry Indians fans - I have no clue who call your games). National announcers just suck.
