Love DP's answer!

I think you should call Animal Control to check into the safety of the dogs.

He needs to giv ehis dogs to someone who can take care of them like they need to be cared for. He obvisouly cannot do the job. Call various rescue orginizations and have them take the dogs from this guy. HE can't handle them and in the end, the probably will end up killing one another. Rotties can be awesome dogs but without proper handling and training - as we see here - they can become just as aggressive and destructive as any other dog. Get these animals some help. It isn't fair to the dogs and it isn't fair to the owner.

I have a male puppy, and my spouse's parents have a female puppy from the same litter. Whenever they get together, they rough-house, and it sometimes looks a lot worse than it is. Neither one of them have drew blood, or caused an injury (other than a minor scratch) to the other. As long as these dogs are playing around like this, I feel it's ok. Animals in the wild play together all the time.

Now, if one dog comes out all bloodied with a broken leg or something, then it's definitely something to be concerned over. Or if your neighbour is purposely pitting the dogs against one another like a dog fight. If your neighbour punishes the dog(s) who doesn't win - by starving them, locking them in a small kennel, etc - then I would definitely contact the Humane Society, or animal services, or whatever is available in your area.

But like I said - if it's just rough-housing, they're just playing around. It's when injuries and punshiments arise from it that it should be a concern.

he sould be seperating them dog cuz the dogs don't like each other. the guy bought them cause he could but he didn't think that the personlities of the dogs didn't matter. IT DOES MATTER!!!!! if the dogs have different personilities then they just kill each other. he needs calm and laid back personilities of the dogs so they can all get along together.

Seperate these dogs immediately - they will kill one another until only the dominant male is left standing! Rotties are terratorial dogs and although they can be docile when raised correctly, your mate hasn't got a f*****g clue has he??? Its cruel and inherently unfair for these dogs to be allowed to fight on a daily basis just for some space and attention! Call the relevant authoritys and have them intervene in this sad situation. Your mate will probably be allowed to keep one of the dogs although in my opinion he shouldn't be allowed to care for a budgie! A prime example of why arseholes and animals should never be mixed!!!

your "mate" needs to get a backbone if hes going to keep these dogs, they have no idea who the pack leader is and they have to or they WILL kill each other.

This is a dangerous situation. I think he needs to rehome some of the dogs immediately before something terrible happens.

Even if he has them trained, unless he is with them all the time tempers can still flair.

I went through this with just two dogs. One minute they got along just fine, then they we fighting. And I mean really fighting. As hard as is was we did have to rehome one of them.

If your neighbor does not do something, I would contact the Humane Society. He may or may not have good intentions, but its's not worth the risk.

Thank you for being concerned and please look out for the dogs.
