How to be prescribed Adderall?

I don't have ADD/ADHD but when i took Adderall it seem to help me focus more even though I wasn't on much of a high. It help me lose some weight, but i still ate and was not starving myself. I think Adderall gives me more attention, but i don't show signs of ADD or ADHD? Right now i go to a family doctor, how can i bring up this topic and how can i/do i get prescribed adderall for just my extreme inattention?

Go see a psychiatrist and talk with the psychiatrist about the things you just mentioned. There may be other medications that are better suited for you. It is always dangerous for a non-medical person to try to obtain drugs when you don't know the side effects of the medication, nor if the medication is best for your needs.

Go see your doctor, complain about short attention span. Ask about help, say your friend said something abour adderall. ask if its right for you. Sometimes lying will help you out.

Taking Adderall just gave you a short high. If you end up on it, you'll just have to keep taking higher dosages to remain feeling "good."

I went through some issues with Adderall. I was taking it and didn't really need it. Talk with your doctor. Be HONEST with your doctor, and get something that you actually need.

Adderall is a controlled substance and can be highly addictive so most family doctors won't prescribe it at all. You would need to see a psychiatrist but the fact that you are specifically asking for it and that you have taken it without a prescription, makes you sound like you are "drug seeking". See a psychiatrist and be honest about how you are actually feeling and go along with what they recommend otherwise they will think you are drug seeking, too. Good luck! My sister uses Aderall for bi-polar with a lot of success... It certainly could help with your attention and depression problems.
