How many pills of clonazepam can you take, without O.D'ing?

Bad panic attack, taken already the presecribed amount and it hasn't done too much. How many more can I take, before it would send me to the hospital? Don't want to go there if at all possible -- 0.5mg.

Obviously, if your prescribed dose is not effective, then you need to go back to the Doctors who are treating you; otherwise, they won't know whats going on, and that's not fair to them nor is it being fair to yourself, as the ones treating you will now be flying blind. Getting casual advice on the internet is one thing; asking what is the LD50 (what older clinicians will remember as half the lethal dose) of a powerful benzodiazepine is something else entirely. No doctor or nurse in his or her right mind would even attempt to give you that information sight unseen.
