Medicare does not currently offer hearing aids or assistance of any kind. Some Medicare Advantage plans do offer limited assistance. One will allow you one hearing aid every three years and will pay up to $800. If she is not on a Medicare Advantage plan the annual enrollment period is coming up November 15 to December 31. You'll want to visit a local independent agent that works in the senior market to find the best plan for her.

You can also check the National Council on Aging http://www.ncoa.org/ They will know if there are any organizations that offer help in your area.
