Just one deadly sin costume?

What does anyone think of just doing ONE of the seven deadly sins? Someone suggested that, but I disagree. They have to be together. It's not like some ideas, like a crayon costume, that can be done alone or with a group. Other abstract idas can be done alone, but the seven deadly sins, IMHO, have to be together. One just doesn't seem right without all the others. The four seasons would have to all be together also.

One person wore the American flag to symbolize pride, but if I did something like that, everyone might think I meant just an American or something like that. Similarly, the wrath with a knife might make others think I'm a killer. And the envy costuem looks like a nymph or a wingless fairy.

Does anyone agree with any of this?

Yes, I definitely think the 7 deadly sins should be done together or not at all. If, for example, you choose to do gluttony, no one will know what you're doing unless you have the other 6.

I have to do this too this year for our halloween dance, and I am either supposed to be lust or pride. i am not going to dress up in the american them, that just doesnt sound like a sin to me, so i was thinking maybe like a beauty pagent thing with a banner that says 'Miss Awesome' and a tiara or something....as for lust, well im still trying to decide if my parents will let me out of the house as that:)

    any other ideas?
