Jump higher ????

What exercises should I undergo in order to jump higher so that I could dunk?

Lose weight and gain strength in your quads and calves.

Probably squats and cleans.

    do at least 200 squats a day for 3 days in a row but if your starting out do it 2 x a week and then do it every day b/c I missed up my knee doing it so be carefull.

    exercises maybe to practice at the swimming pool like jumping in the mid area of the swimming pool doing heavy exercises to harden your muscles and legs..

    Keep jumping to your max level, eventually (with time) you will notice you jump higher, the more you push yourself to jump higher the more you will achieve your goal. Along with that you MUST do a lot of running exercises in order to get your legs in shape. (do not believe in squats and machines to help you, if your legs are not conditioned enough it will only slow you down). When you feel like you jump a little higher, start practicing running and jumping towards the rim (layup drill). Don't forget that whatever you do, focus on jumping higher than what you are able to even if you are tired. I started dunking at the age of 14 because of this.
