When do you usually take your christmas tree down??

Last year we got really lazy and didn't take our tree down until February...........our lights outside the house are still up though. =[

My family usually left the Christmas tree up until after the New Year celebration. Something about good luck. *shrugz* Now, the lights, depending on how they're arranged, like visible or in the way - if they outline the house, most people leave them up year 'round, and just unplug 'em. It beats having to store them untangled and re-decorating your house.

I open my gifts on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning I get up and take all my decorations down, tree and all. I always put my tree on the front sidewalk by the curb and within 30 mins it is gone. That way some one who wouldn't have a tree can enjoy it for a while.

we have a real tree so we can't leave it up for months. we usually put it up about 2 weeks before christmas and take it down the weekend after new years.

We usually take ours down on New Years Day. I like it to last a long time since it is so pretty in the house to look at in the nighttime.

I always think it's trashy to leave the lights on outside the house UNLESS they're on a tree..

Christmas lights are NOT patio lights.. so don't try to fool anyone.

I usually take mine down Feb 1st. Not because I'm lazy (although I am) but because I just loooove Christmas :P

January the 6th is the traditional end of the Christmas holiday and is the date on which w the Christmas tree should be taken down.
Taking down the tree any earlier is thought to bring bad luck for the rest of the new year.

I put my tree up sometimes the day after Thanksgiving or weekend after sometimes the 1st of December but I take it down the day after christmas
