Did you and your children ever read the Beatrice Potter books?
My mom read them to me, and I read them to my girls. they loved them.

Yes they are just a delight. My kids are grown with kids of their own but they still love them. ABC has them on the TV and I always watch if I happen to see them on.

I think that was more of a UK
or British thing. I loved Beatrice Potter mainly for her
drawings of the little animals.
The stories didn't mean much
after a child reached about 11.
At least not American kids.
