Taking too many pain killers really dangerous?

My bf has his wisdom teeth coming in badly and they are causing him a lot of pain. Up until recently he has just had to deal with it. It causes him so much pain he has trouble everyday just getting work done. So he started taking ibuprofen like every single day... for i think it's been 4 months and i'm not sure if he's taking one or more... but when he told me that i got extrememly worried what are the health risks? He suffers from headaches often as well but i think it's caused from the pain that's only a guess though.. can anyone help?

Wisdom teeth are not generally viable and should be removed if they are causing pain. Taking ibuprofen can cause kidney and stomach problems. You're probably correct in your thinking that the headaches are caused from the tooth pain. He should see a dentist immediately.

Have him see a doctor and/or a dentist, or both. If this has been going on for 4 months, I think he has a serious problem.

He should go to a dentist to have them removed. They will put him under, so he won't feel anything. They will probably give him vicodin for the pain after they have been extracted. Tooth pain is the worst pain.

taking too many pain killers is dangerouse. read the safety precoutions on the little leafelet inside the packet.

You need to know about your metabolism, because every one of us is different and our body acts in a different way.

But, you need to take in account that any abuse of a drug is bad, spacially when we talk about pain killers, because there are many of them which are very strong.

You must go to your doctor for asking him about it.

see a dentist
4 months of pain sounds like it could be impaction
in which case they can get infected-cause a heart problem
they may have to be extracted
taking ibuprofen every day will only cause kidney problems not solve the tooth problem- if impacted it only gets worse as the tooth has no room to come in
