Robert Horry as the best role player of all time? Is dennis rodman the best role player in his position? or is it scottie pippen? scottie pippen.... no argue about that! the player who introduce us the role of point forward.

he accepted the reponsibility of being the second man behind mj on the bulls offensive option although he prove it that he can lead the bulls team by making the leader of every major statistical category on one season.

scottie pippen cause he spent most of his career with jordan but can't we consider him as a fellow superstar of the bulls? i think the reason most people would consider him a role player is that he played with arguably " the greatest player" who played in the nba, who would've overshadowed any superstar whom he played with. when jordan retired, he was the bulls' superstar.

but he definitely played a big role for the bulls.

James Worthy. All this guy had to do was fill the lane on fast breaks and Magic would deliver. I always thought the guy was way overrated, but he did fill his role.

Pippen wasn't exactly a "role [layer." He was No. 2 to Jordan, but was still given a lot of latitude on the floor to do whatever he thought was necessary at the time. A role player has very defined responsibilities and very narrow parameters in which to work.

Horry is obviously the best role player by number of rings.
