Unfortunately no, however after getting periods on it your ovary may pick up and start ovulating on it's own. Medroxyprogesterone [Provera] is actually taken to bring on a period. It doesn't make you ovulate it just makes your uterus shed it's lining so that you get a period. Although in rare cases I've read that if you were taking a drug to ovulate and then Provera to get a period, there was a slight chance you could get pregnant. I was actually on Metformin to ovulate and had to take Provera, because I still hadn't received a cycle after 2 months on Metformin .. I didn't get pregnant. Birth control was too strong for me and gave me bad headaches so I had to take Provera to get a period. Hope this helped a little, and it doesn't hurt to practice making a baby anyway, good luck!
