Diflucan is used for several different fungal infections and the organism and location will affect how it is given.
That being said, Diflucan is available in 50mg, 100mg, 150mg, and 200 mg, in tablet form. You must have misstyped or confused the dose given. If the bottle says 10 mg call the pharmacy and question the pharmacist.
For a vaginal yeast infection a one time dose of 150mg is common.
For other conditions there is a requirement for long term dosing to control the infection.
Additionally, while it usually only takes one 150mg tablet to treat most cases of vaginal candidiasis, some providers will put repeat if neccessary to get more pills available to the patient with only one copay on insurance.
As you did not do this under women's health, I will assume this is not a vaginal condition, non vaginal conditions usually require an extended use of 100 mg tablets for a prolonged periods.
There is an oral suspension for persons of weight lower than most adults/children and an injectable formulation for IV administration.
If you have questions it is best to confirm the presciption with your doctors office.
