nope i always took twice the recommended dose and it didnt have an affect on me but of course i seem to not respond well to any meds...even oxycotton does not put me to sleep....i have even tried ambien and lunesta

Unisom, Nytol, etc.. are sleep aids. The active ingredient in these pills is diphenhydramine HCl (i.e. Benadryl)

I swear by it. Unisom and Tylenol brand "Simply Sleep." They are my miracle workers.

Unisom has two different pills. The capplets contain "Benadryl". The tablets contain a mild hypnotic agent which might work better for you.
