Great answers!

I was thinking a Cardinal pitcher did it in late 90s early 00s, but cant seem to find any rookie hurlers for the Birds with such stats.
billy rohr of the red sox came within 1 out of a no hitter against the yankees in his first major league start in 1967

The only pitcher to toss a no-hitter in his first major league start was Cleveland Browns hurler Bobo Holloman on May 6, 1953.

Wilson Alvarez threw a no hitter for the Chicago White Sox against Baltimore on August 11, 1991, his first for the team, but second overall (his one start, in 1989, with the Texas Rangers was a disaster).
