How do you keep Bearshare for FREE after trial period?

i doubt you can get it free after, you could buy it (ROFL)

you can, but its illegal and can infect your comp with viruses

    Here's an idea. Go to filehippo.com and get the older version of Bearshare (I believe something like 5.25) and download it. Then UNINSTALL your current version of Bearshare (the trial version).
    Then, install the older version (5.25) of Bearshare. Now you've got Bearshare and it's not the trial version and just as good as the real thing.
    Oh, and when it asks you if you want to update, say NO.

    Bearshare along with many others add spyware to your computer. Tracking devices, cookies, malware, and gives you all kinds of pop ups. Any time you use anything like that be sure to stay on your P's and Q's with virus updates and scans & spyware scans.
