Jump roping will not help you dunk. Do squats, calf raises, and box jumps. Squats may not be pleasant btu they will help. For box jumps stand next to a bench or someting stable and about 2 1/2 or 3 feet tall, and jump from the ground to it and back. Both feet at the same time like a rabbit jump. Do 3 stes and slowly increase you reps every few days.
