How do you get rid of spiders?

I just moved into a new house and realized there are these spiders in the basement. They have really long legs with a small body resembling daddy long legs but aren't. I've tryed to research these online and they seemed to be called Cellar Spiders. But the big question is how do I get rid of them. I have a phobia of spiders, so they need to go. Help!

Spiders a tough to get rid of. Most insecticides don't kill spiders....but they do kill the bugs they eat. So call your local exterminator and tell them you want those spiders gone. They will be able to get rid of some...but not all of them.

I HATE spiders..... well what i suggest is going to home depot or a garden store and asking about spider killers, and whenever you see one. kill it with a paper towel till it wont move. i ahve spiders too and sometime these ones wont die until you squash them. get an exterminator and spider killer and pretty soon your house will be fresh again.
