Norco--pain killer?

Question

Hi my mother was recently prescribed norco for headaches and back pain.she takes about 1 tablet a day. Is this going to damage her liver? I know that he gave this to her because it does not have a lot of acetomophine in it…..if taking just 1 a day will it severly damage her liver?

one Norco a day is not going to cause severe liver damage. If your mother is greatly concerned telephone the doctor and ask about this. I really feel there's nothing to be concerned about.

Does your mom have a bad liver? It should not bother her. What else does it have in it? If the doctor knows of any condition as far as her liver is concerned I am sure he knows what he is doing. Another person to ask about the medication would be a pharmacist.
