Confused!!! I have taken 3 hpt 2 negative & 1 positive im 5 days late could i be pregant?

Its not very rare to get a negative result when you're actually pregnant, and VERY rare to have a positive result when you're not pregnant! Perhaps you tested early or drank too much liquid or had too much caffiene before you took the tests that ended up negative.
So I would say that you are, in fact, pregnant. Wait until the morning or whenever you wake up after sleeping for a long time and take a test. You'll know for sure then
And yes, after a certain amount of time the HcG hormone will double every day as the baby grows, so the line will continuously get darker if you were to take a test every day.

If it comes out negative all over again, there's a possibility you could have been pregnant for a few days and the ovum didn't take, resulting in a miscarriage. Many women have miscarriages without ever knowing they were pregnant in the first place, and its very common. I would assume if I got 1 positive and then a bunch of negatives, that was more than likely what happened.

Ive been TTC for 4 years, and Ive taken many tests and many different brands of them. Ive never seen an "evaporation line" on any of them.. even 24 hours later. I usually take the cheap brands and they've always been right so far (negative)

I have taken hpt also and had mixed results....re take the test again..and if its still negative ..wait ..if you dont get your period go see your doctor. Even if you are pregnant they wont see you until you have missed 2 periods.maybe your pregnancy hormone just isnt high enough right now. The hpts tell you to re do them a week later. I still dont know yet at this point whether i am pregnant or not. will have to do a blood test. GOOD LUCK.

I think you are pregnant. Did you take them the same day? The pregnancy hormone doubles every day, so every day you wait, it doubles and the more likely you are to have a positive test. Take one tomorrow and see if it is positive, if so, then you are pregnant. I have heard of false negative tests, but not a false positive. If the hormone is there, then it is there.

if that one test showed positive you sure could be. wait a few more days, use your first morning urine, and test again. i think you are pregnant!! congratulations!! =)

I would take one more test and see if it is positive again. If neg then wait a few days and re-test. If you had a positive I would only assume you are pregnant. Good luck

hm in ur case lik u took 2came out neg.and 1possitive and u still missin ur period there is a possibility. to make sure and to b more secure go to any clinic, or ur gynec.and take a blood test.it will tell u for sure whter u r or not.good luck!
