Bore hole water too "salty" to use... any ideas?

have been told the quality of the bore hole water is not good - too salty. Is there any process that can be used to correct this? Like a filter or mini de-salination? Only for garden use etc not drinking water?

Salt water intrusion. It's not any good for anything .
