Why do guys wear boxers under their swim trunks? lol?

i don't do it because when you want to change back to dry clothes, your boxers are still wet. It's just a fashion icon right now that will dye off by next summer

I never realized guys do. My husband doesn't. He just makes sure he buys the swim shorts that have a liner inside to hold his "junk"(ugh, did I just use that word??)

oh my gosh I've been wondering this myself for a long time! My boyfriend always wears his boxers under his swim trunks & i'm just like, why? Girls don't wear underware under their bikini bottoms or a bra under their top. I don't get it & the best answer he can come up with is "just cuz... we all do it". lol

soudns lieka craze - however i would see why girls may were bra or undies, soemthimes swimsuits dont fit that well especailly if theyre used for a while and r stretched out

Some swimming suits are loose. They wear their underwear under the suit to avoid having a certain body part revealed if the suit falls.

I wear boxers with my swimshorts because I'm thin and a wet pair of board shorts are still loose and will tend to sag down a lot.

how about every one stops guessing and listens up.
here in California, every one thats not old wears board shorts. board shorts dont have any lining, and boxers prevent chafing and keep your junk comfy. also if your swimsuit is a little large it makes it fit a little better.

For a few reasons:
1 - fashion is baggy nd big shorts so they buy them nd possibility of falling down
2. show them off
3 - people will copy cool people doing it
3 - support their package
4 - dont like feeling of the swim shorts
5 = for the hell of it lol
