Is the medication Keflex a bacterial antibiotic?

    all antibiotics in nature are antibacterial....that is the only thing they are supposed to treat. That is why it is ridiculous to give antibiotics for the cold or flu...they are both caused by viruses. Antibiotics are no longer as effective as they once were due to them being over-prescribed. If you do end up taking an antibiotic make sure you get on a good probiotic as well to replenish the beneficial bacteria that the antibiotic kill as well. These beneficial bacteria are what make up the most of your immune system.....good luck and God bless.
